Join the Lakeview Family Health Team Board of Directors

The Lakeview Family Health Team (LVFHT) is seeking dedicated and talented leaders to join our Board of Directors. As a community resource governed by a combination of community volunteers and physicians from the Brighton-Quinte West Family Health Organization, our Board plays a crucial role in overseeing our mission, vision, and values. We are committed to meeting the healthcare needs of our community and providing high-quality service and care.

Why Join Our Board?

Board members at LVFHT work closely with the Executive Director to provide strategic and innovative leadership. You will help ensure quality care for our community advance access to healthcare. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in Cramahe Township, Brighton, and Quinte West.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Board member, you will:

  • Think strategically and communicate effectively
  • Collaborate well with others and show a willingness to learn
  • Provide leadership at financial, strategic, and policy levels of governance
  • Commit to preparing for and attending at least four board meetings per year
  • Potentially join a committee, contributing additional time as needed

Board members serve two-year terms and may serve up to three terms, totaling six years of service. The term for this role begins at the end of September 2025. The typical time commitment is approximately 3-4 hours per month.
