Adult Immunization Program at Lakeview Family Health Team

Our Adult Immunization Program provides essential vaccinations to adults, following the National Advisory Committee on Immunization’s (NACI) and Public Health Ontario’s guidelines. This program is designed to strengthen your immune system and protect you at every stage of life.

Vaccines are a crucial part of maintaining health and preventing disease. By participating in our Adult Immunization Program, you’re taking an active step towards safeguarding your health and the health of those around you.

What We Offer:

Comprehensive Vaccination Coverage:

  • Routine Immunizations: Free vaccines for eligible individuals as part of Ontario’s publicly funded immunization program. Learn more at Ontario.ca/vaccines.
  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccine: Available every fall for individuals aged 6 months and older. Free flu shots are provided at our clinic by booking an appointment and participating pharmacies (children under five must visit a doctor or nurse practitioner).
  • Adult Schedules: Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis vaccine between 24-26 years, with a tetanus and diphtheria booster every 10 years thereafter.
  • Senior Immunizations: At age 65, vaccines include pneumococcal, shingles (for ages 65 to 70), and ongoing tetanus and diphtheria every 10 years.

  • Access for All Eligible Individuals: Available for those 6 months and older. Book your appointment through our clinic or:

This program is available exclusively to rostered patients of physicians at the Brighton Quinte West Family Health Organization.
